I only have two acoustic guitars. That's enough..

Edbird....That sounded like such an incredible experience!

We used to see Hot Tuna in Boston...and I remember Papa John Creech playing electric violin!
Perhaps this is my inspiration!

Color me green with envy! Eventhough I'm not really a guitar player, I'm sure that the FPR would be a great musical experience.

Edbird, you get to go to all the great places! - if you ever need someone to carry your luggage or guitars - I'm available, work cheap and don't eat much (except pizza).

All I know about the FPR is from stories and blogs of Roy Bookbinder. He's also the FPR regular that I know the most about. I'd love to be on the porch in one of Roy's sessions listening to him play, sing and tell stories (he's the official national story telling champion). Learning some of those blues licks would be gravy.

Incidently, great post - you ought to get multiple credits for the length and quality.

Thanks, Kmando. There are several mando workshops at FPR each year. One is taught usually by Chris Hillman, famous as a member of The Byrds. The other is taught by Barry Mitterhof, who is a well known mando player and multi instrumentalist who plays bluegrass, klezmer, and is also a member of Hot Tuna!!!
