TOPIC: My Dr Scholls Banjo Armrest

So here it goes.
I have managed to develop tendonitis or some other similar condition as a result of playing banjo.
The pain, which is intermittent, feels like the tendoms in my arm go into a short spasm and then stop.
The location is on the underside of my arm right above the wrist, which is exactly where my arm contacts the arm rest.
The arm rest is worn heavy in that location.
I tried wearing a wrist band but since the hand position varies as one plays, it is not 100% effective.

So my next fix consists of trimming out a patch from a Dr Scholls shoe insert, which concicts of a plyable rubber material about 3/16 thick and attaching it to the armrest with Scotch, double sided sticky mounting pads.

Hoping it works.
I'll take any suggestions.

You may want to get a patent on it!

Ack!!! Tendonitis is never fun. Hope you get better soon.
