A very kind offer (as usual) from martinezg...would like to talk to you more in class. Just a note...at the Bluegrass workshop...I won a raffle which included a copy of "The Fretboard Journal" in it. It had an extensive article which just consisted of Sam Bush and Tim O'Brian reminiscing about their past expereniences and uses of different instruments and stuff. (best article I have read)... anyway...Sam Bush uses an old Fender electric mandolin that he has had for years..and he loves it. Part of their conversation was "why do electric mandolins only have 4 strings?"...Bushes answer was because that is what Mr. Fender wanted.
