I have a fob that is a banjo tuner. "Keep it up Lucy and you won't be in the show" B)

I just put medium strings on my Gibson yesterday, I have always used lights. The volume AND tone have improved greatly. The lows are richer and deeper, and the highs are more balanced and less shrill. Slightly more work to play but not as much as I thought. It's a winner! It's like having a new guitar. I will probably convert the other one, also.

Makes me wonder if putting new strings on my fiddle would make it sound better......(or is it ME that makes it sound so awful?)

PS. I need a teacher to show me how to change the strings!
