TOPIC: Who would you perform with?

Just curious........if you could perform with anyone in the world who would it be? I would say Curley Ray Cline. He was a great friend to my Dad, and we used to hunt with him. I just thought he was the coolest guy.

For me it wouldn't be so much "performing with him" as watching him perform...and that would be Jeff Buckley! (but he's gone now.) He sang Halleluja and played the guitar like no one else! ) But if forced to come up with an answer I would have to say that I would love to be in a performance with Jimmy Buffet or the Neville Brothers ... they really have a good time in their shows and that's what it's all about!

Curley Ray is mine mostly because I knew him as a child. It was a big deal that my Dad supplied his hunting dogs to him. It seemed that he could make a Fiddle do most anything. I sort of idolized him. He too is passed on now.

That's a great story! My dad knew John Pearse, famous guitarist and string/accessory manufacturer. I never met him, and he is deceased now, although I did correspond with him via email a few years ago. I have, though,heard he was an amazing character and great player. That would have been fun, to play with him.

There is much to learn from those with so much experience.
