Strumming The Guitar - Four Basic Strums

Mastering rhythm guitar starts with consistent practice of basic fundamental strumming techniques.   There is an art to strumming the guitar correctly.  The video below (which can also be seen at Fretmentor's You Tube Channel) provides an introduction to  four basic strumming patterns.   Also addressed is the basic use of alternating bass notes with each strumming pattern.  Practice these patterns each day and you will be on your way towards becoming a decent rhythm guitar player.
