TOPIC: red,white,and bluegrass festival

red,white,and bluegrass festival 14 years 9 months ago #1383

We are currently in NC at the Red, White and Bluegrass Festival. There is a total of 28 named bands playing on the main stage over 4 days. There are also a bunch of bands trying to get noticed playing in other areas. The festival has a competition for these bands with the winner playing on stage Sat. as the opening act. The music is awesome and all the performers are gracious about signing things or just saying"Hi". It is truly inspiring and I am looking forward to more practice time when we get home.

Thats really cool, Pinky! I have never been to a Blue Grass festival...but am going to my first one in August...the "Old Fiddlers Convention" in Galax, VA. My brother and his wife live on 100 acres near there.We'll stay with them. I think Reid Turner is going to it as well. Aught to be a hoot!
