That cartoon was where I first heard "Arkansas Traveler" I didn't know that at the time, I thought it was just part of the cartoon. When I got my first mandolin songbook, a song was listed as Arkansas Traveler" with a comment of "you'll occasionally hear this song in old movies and cartoons to suggest a country bumpkin".
