I remember the first class I took with Dave, Beggining Guitar I. The first lesson right after "OK poeple, please tune your guitars BEFORE class" was to sit up straight in your chair. Good posture promotes good playing. I didn't have a good stool so I decided to blow up this old exercise ball we had and keep it in the music room to sit on while I play. Almost like killing two birds with one stone. Well it's worked great for about a year now. Until last night. I was reading the book about Wayne Henderson building Clapton's guitar and got the urge to go play. I picked up my alternate (tuned) Sigma and started to play. I was just getting warmed up and WHAM. The ball didn't just spring a leak, it was a total blow out! In a matter of .2 seconds I was on the floor, bent two guitar stands, knocked my wifes guitar into my Strat, and was bleeding like a stuck pig. Apparently, I stuck one of the tuning pegs into my forehead. I think I'm going to look for a good stool.
