TOPIC: HOT WATER!

I have found that when the weather is cold I have a hard time getting my fingers to move so I have "discovered" a temporary solution. Before I pick up Marty or Mandy I place my hands in hot water for about five minutes...I'm not so sure how "green" this is, but it is helping me out with my practices. So until the weather gets back to "normal" I have added a ritual to my practice time By the way, I have Stanley to thank for this....who proceeded to lick my hands right before my practice after having eaten something awful from outside .

For dayswhen my fingers are stiff, from cold or otherwise, I use horse linimint. I wait a couple of minutes til it soaks in, and voila! no more stiffness!

Would I be "hoofing" afterwards?

I remember back in the 70's and early 80's there was this stuff called DMSO, it was some kind of horse liniment used at the race track. If you had soar joint it took the pain away all most immediately, but it made your mouth taste like fish oil.

So this stuff is injested??? I thought you guys were talking about something topical.....Count me out!!!! Nothing like that would go trough my mouth (unless it tasted like chocolate .)

It was topical, but it was absorbed into the blood stream (as it was explained to me) and left a bad, no horrible taste in your mouth. But boy did it work great. I only used it once after suffering a motorcycle injury while on vacation in the mountains of Georgia. The father of the people we were visiting had it and used it regularly for his rumatiz.
