TOPIC: NOMENCLATURE, PLEASE!

I learn songs a lot easier when I know the melody. I have found out that with the Bluegrass World I am quite ignorant to most of the tunes. What I've been doing lately is recording songs from Youtube onto my I-Phone App. "quickvoice" and then listen to the song as often as I can so that the melody is in my little head. I'm only able to do this when I know what I'm looking for, so without a song title I'm at a loss. That's why I'm always asking for the titles!....and that's the "rest of the story".

It must be working, cuz you seem to play most of them well.

Thank you Dave 2311, but I only volunteer for the ones that I am semi-comfortable with....The 3 new ones I'm having to learn the melodies....when I "play" them they don't sound anything like what Hogpaws plays...and we all know who has the ear.....(NOT ME!!! )
