TOPIC: How not to practice

Do not sit in the comfy recliner to practice. It puts the mandolin out of position and your fingers do not reach the proper frets. Then the football game becomes more interesting than practice... At least I was over an hour into my practice before I moved to the living room. This is the 1st time I've had the house to myself in so long, I don't know how to behave!

Ditto 3 times!... comfy recliner for practice[thumbs down], football[thumbs up], house to yourself[thumbs up]. I love to have Betsy with me while watching football but, if I'm doing a serious practice I gotta be alone with her. She likes football but, she needs to be taken seriously...anyway... she gets jealous if I split my attention so ya definitely have to pay attention to Mandy if progress is to be made.

Hey George, Mandy is MY mandolin....not sure what Pinky's is named....by the way, my guitars, mando, uke, manjo and piano are all fellows.....you have a gal!( Betsy!!! )

If my banjo is a girl, perhaps that would explain why I find it periodically unplayable.

My banjo must be a girl also. I never know when she gets pissed off with me.

And as FM knows, because I always tell him...not only are my instruments males.....so are my fingers....as they never cooperate!!! Shhhh! Don't tell Hogpaws I've said this....Don't want trouble in paradise !
