TOPIC: Numbers

...weather's great, ain't it?

I learned something last class. Or shall I say something spoke to me...it regards practice habits...I tend to learn tabs playing fast... you know, slow to "get it" but, practice it at "live" speed and skipping some transitional notes:P just to keep the beat going ... then slow it down to get it all right:) . My niche is reading maybe but, it sure ain't get'n weird chord progressions down pat:huh: . Last class we played a standard jazz progression... to me.. if I understand the cord sequences like I-IV-V... that makes sense to me. . it became so much easier to pick up on on that jazz sequence once FM named the numerical sequence. I got it.r get it].. the numerical sequence... it makes sense. I don't need no chalkboard?!
