TOPIC: FIDDLE STUDIO PLEASE!!!!

OK, we really do need/want a fiddle studio FM! Anyway, for you fiddle players outhere....besides the slight chop....how else does a fiddle play back up?????

Tigerpaws....along with chops, there are "long bows" .....but I'm not quite certain what they are..

I get so bored playing "chops".......so I play the note FM shouts out......if it's a "G" chord for everybody, I play a "G" on the fiddle. More fun that way.

I understand the "boring"that you mentioned.....the one time I brought the fiddle to class I thought I'd grow spider webs with the "back up" I was doing......there has to be something else.....I'm going to try what you suggested (at home ) but I'm also going to ask my fiddle instructor next lesson.
