In Soldier's Joy, i believe the 3rd measure, is the 3 note D played as if they are tied, like a triplet occupying 1 count of time? The tab seems to suggest it does, and the way i've heard it played seems to reinforce same. There is a D before the triplet that seems like it occupies 1 count, and the 3 D's can be played down/up/down to occupy 1 count.
I'm trying to break down the notes in the measures into their time slots so i can practice the tune with my met to train my brain for proper timing. Can't wait to work on that lead run on the E string.
