Palkan22, you and i were discussing play along rhythm models that our amps have. I think i stumbled on a very cool device that does that to the extreme. The Boss JS8 guitar trainer. The ratings for this thing is off the charts, it has built in songs to jam with, plus gives you the capability to plug your Ipod device into it, and play along with those tunes. It even has built in effects for your guitar, so it's like having an effects pedal, along with the music capabilities. You can even filter out parts of a tune, such as vocals or the lead guitar, so you can practice your riff with the tune. Very cool device, and the price ain't too bad, about what you would pay for an average portable amp. Imagine piping the output of this thing into your favorite amp, it would be like playing in a band! I'm gonna hit Guitar Center and see if they have one of these babes on the floor.
