TOPIC: Heavy Breathing!

If you hear heavy breathing it's probably me...hyperventilating....I just bought a Gibson F-5G Mandolin from First Quality Music with Dave's help and my head is in a brown paper bag trying to get my breathing back. I know it's a great buy and I can't wait to learn how to play it.... but the Christmas gifts and Birthday gifts and Graduation gifts and Confirmation gifts for my nieces and nephew have come to an abrupt end Oh well, I'll just remember to leave them in my will. They have a long wait though as I plan to live to 140 so I can master both instruments.... (Dave has promised to be around...to give me lessons... )

I'm ruined. I can read the headlines in the Jupiter paper now.
"Jealous husband attacks mandolin player in Jupiter music class".... Player claimed he just wanted to get close to her mandolin, husband didn't see it that way... Bluegrass class under lockdown until order is restored....


Didn't Dave say we should try each other's instruments?

No....wish I could really play the mandolin though. I'm in Baton Rouge at the hospital with a very sick sister in law and everytime she comes to she asks me if I brought the mandolin because that's her favorite instrument and wants to hear me play it. Wish I could do this for her.....On a serious note....which you guys are not used to getting from me....it's amazing what music does to one's spirits....she lights up everytime she hears a tune she likes....if only I could make my "Mandy" play for her....

You are there for her and that is what is most important.
