TOPIC: left hand exercises

I am having surgery on my right hand in 2 weeks. What can I do with my left hand to keep in practice? Should I just watch videos and read books? What would you do? I'm not really interested in trying out a different instrument(someone at work suggested harmonica). I can't seem to process any other instrument at this time.

When I broke my right arm last year I would practice the fingering with my left...pull offs allowed me to hear the "note"....it kept me in the loop...and from going totally insane.....What surgery are you having? I didn't know this!!!

Another trigger finger release. I had the left hand done about 15 years ago, now the right one is shot.
