Okay, so we did the Sing-Along this past Monday and it was really a success!!! The audience, made up of the residents at the Assisted Living Facility were singing along so happily and loud that our mistakes were drowned. The best part was at the end when we played the "patriotic songs" and one gentleman in a wheel chair that is known for not uttering a word ever, started singing "Anchors Aweigh" as he had been a sailor. What an awesome feeling! I still can't believe that I've done this, but it was really a great experience and now my mom has bragging rights at the facility as it was her family that provided them with the "fun"!

Thanks guys...you are too kind! My mom is already talking Christmas....and Christmas Carols...Ayyyyy...I'm already nervous.....but it really is neat to watch her and the residents enjoy it so much.....amazing how the older we get the more we enjoy the little things in life....
