Scruggs has a new CD out called the Ultimate Collection recorded live at a recent concert I think called the Ryman(?) concert hall.

I'm listening to the program now. It's absolutely fascinating to hear about him talk about his life and his music. Plus they are playing some of his more well known tunes.

He plays the same Gibson banjo that he's been playing since the 40's.

You'll have to go visit the Ryman Auditorium (also home of the Grand Old Opry) in Nashville. It discusses Scruggs as well as other well known musicians that brought forward the bluegrass sounds we hear today.
