Eyeball meatball mashed potatoes...i like these little tune switch a roos Fretmentor pulls. Kinda makes me think i should be practicing more, Wednesday night class alone is clearly not enough. Keeps us on the edge! Guess i better put the Tony Bennet tabs away...

Yes indeed. Lately, i've been busy on house projects, remodeled 2 bedrooms, hardwood floors, etc ad-nauseum. It takes me a few weeks of constant practice to feel confident enough to take a lead on a tune. It's kinda pot luck, pick a tune, learn it, maybe i'll know it enough to take a lead. Plus we have these new tunes, which are really rockin, like Double Eagle, Fretmentor has definitely ampped up the song selections. It's really ok, it is challenging, and i like the idea of not bringing music up there with us while performing. You just gotta learn it, thats all there is to it.

I though I was the only one having a tough time playing the lead in Nine Pound Hammer, John Hardy, Cripple Creek & Arkansas Traveler. I don't have a problem playing the songs, my problem is remembering them. I have been strugling with them for a few months now. I have not attemped the chords as of now.
