TOPIC: Singing?

In last night's class singing was mentioned, how it many times is the singer that dictates what key a song is played in. That brought to mind the many times that a quick verse of singing used to be performed after we split up into individual groups, I kind of miss that aspect of our class. Still like the circle, but sometimes it might be nice to throw that style of class in once in a while also.

I agree with Hogpaws (???first) on the variation.....I remember, especially when I was brand new that getting into the small groups helped my confidence.... as far as the singing.....I love to sing...but those around me don't love my singing as much .

I think being in the small groups also helped us shy people introduce ourselves to other class-members. And it was useful when I first came into te class in learning the rhythm parts of the songs. That's especially important if like me you are both shy and not naturally gifted with rhythm.
