TOPIC: A question for all

Darrell says "Since I am practing more it helps me when I'm playing with the group and is helping me learn more songs."

I normally practice about an hour each day but since I went to Baton Rouge this past week I couldn't practice at all.... I would sneak in a few minutes here and there...playing not practicing...anyway, I'm paying for it now as my fingers are so SORE ....I lost my tough skin....doing dishes for everybody didn't help any either. It's amazing how quickly I lose it if I don't practice a decent length of time each day. But I'm back at it....yes Dave, I've drawn blood again!

Silvia, You must have really delicate fingers! How the H E double sticks do you draw blood??????

Oh Yes,Deafstrum, I'm very delicate Mostly the slides do that to me. But in all fairness, I think it was because I lost my tough skin while doing everybody's dishes in Baton Rouge. Gotta learn to say "NO"!

For a long time I wasn't very disciplined about practising everyday, whether I really felt like it or not. But in the past few months I made a commitment to practising everyday, even if it's only 15 minutes. But usually I try to practise twice a day for 20 to 30 minutes. Even though it's not a lot of time, it has helped my "playing"...?!!!!?
