Oscar, i usually practice an hour a day. I try to split it in 1/4s, 15 min. of warming up playing a scale, then a chord progression for the rhythm part of one of the bluegrass tunes Dave gives us, then i'll work on the lead part of the tune. If i have a problem, i'll try to work on that (like playing an F chord clean, or working on chord transitions, Etc) I'll take a practice session to get away from bluegrass, and learn a rock tune. Just be careful you don't try too many songs at once, it will make your head spin! The bluegrass keeps me pretty busy, it takes me 8-10 hours or more to get some of these leads down, and then i still blow it when i play them!
