TOPIC: Blues backing tracks

Blues backing tracks 12 years 9 months ago #5437

Surfing on youtube recently, came across various blues backing tracks where you can practice making up blues leads (or just goof around) while someone else does the shuffle for you. Any flavor you want, any key, fast, slow, texas shuffle, minors, majors, you name it, its there. Just search youtube on "blues guitar backing track". I like the slow blues in "E" myself....

I think my head will explode with all the "practice" opportunities out there.....I use some of them, but still wonder why I sound like I'm screeching.

According to Kmando that's because the fiddle is so darn close to our ears.....I hear the same screeching when I'm playing the fiddle (term used loosely here :P ) ...and Hogpaws tells me it really isn't a screeching sound....(I kinda think that he's just trying to keep it nice around here :) )
