TOPIC: Rather than just let it die...

I like the class format and the way it keeps us on our toes. The "circle" is my favorite part, whether or not I get a lead chance. If I don't, I get to practice on my rythmn. If I do, I get to stick my neck out there and show the world my or my Either way I leave the stage w/ a . On another hand, if I can insert a sub-catagory within this [wonderful collection of ideas from my classmates]topic of "rather than let it die", I do want to count 1234. To me, a count of 1&2&3&4& should be played as(playing a G) G&D&G&D&. Pardon my interruption in my last class but, after the count was started by the lead-in player and the band was to start a measure after... the band started on 3, twice. I had to say something and, I apologize for interrupting the flow. Am I missing something?
